Themed "Case Lab Metaworld – Sherlock Holmes," a special exhibition was held at the Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang, north China's Hebei Province, inviting visitors to the famous detective's world.

Divided into four sections – namely "Emergence of a Crime Fighter," "The Invisible Jazzman Creating Legends," "Influence on Future Generations Validating Truth," and "Case Lab Metaworld" – the exhibition displays the life of the renowned author Arthur Conan Doyle and the stories of the classic character Sherlock Holmes.

It features over 220 exhibits, 10 classic cases, 12 interactive areas, and advanced light, shadow and sound technologies. The exhibition also restored crime scenes and street scenes of Victorian-era Britain, providing visitors with immersive and realistic detective experiences.

More than 80 Chinese, English, and Japanese language documents, including more than 100 volumes, are on display. Among these are the earliest Chinese translations of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," English language editions and collections of Conan Doyle's "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," Conan Doyle's biography and translations, as well as academic research papers, offering a great opportunity for Sherlock Holmes' fans to dive into the classic literary work.
The large-scale immersive exhibition is free to the public and runs until March 31, 2024.
