China launches four new meteorological satellites

China successfully sent four meteorological satellites, Number 15 to 18 of the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation, into space atop a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket at 7:20 p.m. Beijing Time on Friday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The new satellites will be mainly used to provide commercial meteorological data services.
