Chinese President Xi Jinping often communicates with young people through letters. Jonathan López comes from Colombia. In 2018, after graduating from McGill University in Canada, he received a full scholarship from Tsinghua University to study for a master's degree in business. Upon graduation from Tsinghua University, he joined Bytedance to understand more about Chinese technology and how it has been advancing rapidly. López participated twice in the Global Young Leader Dialog China Tours. He shared what he saw and felt in a letter to President Xi Jinping. The Colombian young man with an entrepreneurial dream believes that China has a solid economic foundation and cutting-edge technology, and contains countless opportunities. His experience in China gave him more courage to face challenges.
