Expert warns of shift in international focus from Gaza to the Red Sea

Israel said it had "dismantled" Hamas' military leadership in northern Gaza as its war against the Palestinian group entered a fourth month on Sunday, with fears mounting that the conflict could spread beyond Gaza. Zhang Chuchu, deputy director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Fudan University, says the huge number of young children killed in Gaza will impact Palestine's population growth. She also warns a shift of international focus away from the Gaza war would make a peaceful resolution more difficult to achieve.
