FAA orders grounding of Boeing 737 MAX-9 planes after blowout

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has grounded some Boeing 737 MAX-9 airplanes pending inspections, a day after a panel blew out of an Alaska Airlines plane in mid-air. Aviation regulators in the EU, Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Panama's Copa Airlines have also grounded their Boeing 737 MAX-9 planes for safety checks.
