Two passengers were injured after a small plane overshot the runway on Lizard Island in the Great Barrier Reef on Monday morning, Australia's 9News reported.
The light plane was reportedly carrying nine passengers when it attempted to land on the island, the report said, adding that two rescue helicopters were sent to the site.
