In early 2023, students from a Hungarian-Chinese bilingual school in Hungary sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping and received a reply. In his reply, President Xi encouraged Hungarian youth to become envoys to carry forward and develop the China-Hungary friendship and welcomed students to come to study at Chinese universities. Inspired by President Xi's reply, several Hungarian students came to Beijing in September 2023 to study at Capital Normal University. CGTN reporters interviewed them and recorded the wonderful moments of their college life and their sincere desire to contribute to the Belt and Road cooperation after graduation.
