Live updates: Senior Hezbollah commander killed in Israeli attack

- A senior Hezbollah commander and another member of the Shiite military group were killed on Monday in an Israeli drone attack targeting their car in the southern Lebanese village of Khirbet Selm, Hezbollah said in a statement.

- On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reservists in the northern city of Kiryat Shmona that Israel prefers to restore security in the area without going to war with Hezbollah, but that it is ready to do so.

- U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken held more talks with Arab leaders on Monday as part of a diplomatic push to stop the war in Gaza spreading further. He's due to visit Israel and the West Bank this week. 

- The Israeli army claimed on Saturday evening that it has dismantled the military framework of Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip.
