Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu told soldiers that Israel was ready to go to war with Hezbollah to restore security in the country's northern border, The Times of Israel reported on Monday.
Earlier in the day, senior Hezbollah commander Wissam Hassan Tawil was killed in an Israeli drone attack in the southern Lebanese village of Khirbet Selm, Hezbollah said in a statement.
There has been no response from Israel on the killing.
