Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo on Monday.

The Palestinian President briefed Sisi on the latest developments in Palestine, especially about what happened in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to preventing attempts to relocate the Palestinian people and stopping attacks by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and Jerusalem, Palestine's WAFA news agency reported.

The two leaders also discussed Egyptian, Arab, regional and international efforts to deal with the humanitarian problems in the Gaza Strip.
