Al Jazeera is mourning the death of one of its correspondents who was among two journalists killed in an Israeli air strike on Sunday in southern Gaza. Al Jazeera said the Israeli air strike had targeted the car of its correspondent Hamza Dahdouh and stringer Mustafa Thuraya. A third freelancer was wounded. The Palestinian media office says this brings the number of Palestinian journalists killed since the conflict began to 109. Hamza is the son of Wael Dahdouh, Al Jazeera's Gaza bureau chief who was also recently wounded in a strike after his wife and two other children were killed.
