UBS Group, one of the largest European financial companies, predicts China's GDP to have reached 5.2 percent in 2023 and predicts 4.4 percent in 2024. The company told a media briefing on Monday in Shanghai that it believes a recovery in the stock market, which recorded a sluggish performance in 2023, to pick up in the new year.
