The death toll has risen to 93 from 92 following last week's blasts in Iran's Kerman, local media reported Tuesday, after one patient succumbed to injury at the hospital.

The two explosions, claimed by ISIS, occurred on January 3 near the tomb of Iran's slain top general, Qassem Soleimani, where thousands of people had gathered to honor the late commander, who was assassinated in a U.S. drone attack in 2020.

Local emergency officials last week said over 100 people injured in the blasts were still hospitalized, of whom more than 30 were in intensive care units and in critical condition.
