Russia and Ukraine have recently launched large-scale strikes at each other, inflicting many civilian casualties on both sides. Where is the conflict going in 2024? Are we getting any closer to the end of the conflict? At the same time, G7 countries are considering confiscating Russia’s $300 billion in foreign reserves, which could potentially escalate the confrontation to a new level. If so, how will it affect the credit rules of the global financial system?

Guests in this episode are Pavel Felgenhauer, Russian defense analyst; Ulrich Brueckner, professor of political science at Stanford University in Berlin; and Zhou Bo, senior fellow at the Center for International Security and Strategy of Tsinghua University.
