How to define the current China-E.U. relations?

CGTN

29:31

French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna is in Beijing for a two-day visit, which many believe is aimed at smoothing relations amid a European anti-subsidy probe into Chinese electric vehicles. Is the EU resorting to protectionism against China and what are the likely consequences on the bilateral relationship? Meanwhile, China is offering visa-free services for ordinary passport holders from six Europeans countries including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. How will that help bring the two sides closer as the EU seems bent on de-risking from China? Guests of this edition of Dialogue are Prof. Liu Baocheng from the University of International Business and Economics; Philippe Le Corre, senior fellow of the Asia Society Policy Institute’s  Center for China Analysis; and Prof. Joav Toker from the American Graduate School in Paris.
