From this December on, citizens from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia will not need visas to travel for up to 15 days in China. According to China’s Foreign Ministry, the move is to help “promote China’s high-quality development and opening-up.” What more do we know about the new policy? Why these six countries? And how could this impact people-to-people exchanges and business interactions?
