Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with President of the Republic of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu in Beijing on Wednesday. Xi said in the 52 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Maldives, the two countries have consistently shown mutual respect and support, setting an example of equal treatment, mutual assistance, and mutually beneficial cooperation between countries of different sizes.
