Ice crystals have covered swathes of primitive forest across the Hegulin Scenic Spot in Bortala, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The landscape has transformed into a fairytale icy wonderland. Located in Wenquan County, the scenic spot was established in 2019 and has become a popular tourist destination.
