Spectacular aerial shots have offered a rare view of the picturesque winter scenery that has adorned the natural landscapes of China, from snow-topped mountain ridges to rime-coated forests.
The snowy surroundings have added to the magnificence of the Manas River Valley in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The light at dawn adds a brilliant sapphire blue to the magnificent snow-capped mountains.
After a round of snow blanketed Genhe City in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the forests around the Greater Hinggan Mountains were covered by a thin layer of chiffon-like rime.
Wrapped in the fragile rime, the lines of trees look like corals, turning the scenic spot into a crystal winter wonderland.
