The top supervisory organ of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday adopted a communique at the conclusion of its third plenary session in Beijing. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the plenary session and delivered an important speech. The attendees agreed that Xi's speech had provided scientific answers to major questions regarding the Party's self-reform and included strategic plans for continuing and deepening the fight against corruption. Wang Xinsong, an associate professor at the School of Social Development and Public Policy at Beijing Normal University, says that fighting corruption and strengthening work ethic requires the Party to stick to the "self-revolution" spirit.
