Former UN war crimes judge explains significance of Israel's genocide trial

Israel is facing charges of genocide in its fight against Hamas in Gaza, at the International Court of Justice. CGTN interviewed Geoffrey Robertson KC, a former United Nations war crimes judge and an international human rights barrister. He spoke about the significance of South Africa bringing the case forward, saying it is a "symbolic" attempt to change the definition of what amounts to genocide. He also said there can be no confident prediction of the result at this point.
