As Harbin prepares to host next year's Asian Winter Games, a Truant Penguin snow sculpture made its debut on the south square of Harbin Grand Theatre on Friday. The Truant Penguins are cute "ambassadors" of Harbin and are often spotted at the city's Polarland amusement park wearing little backpacks, looking much like naughty pupils. Standing at 20 meters tall and measuring 15 meters in length and 18 meters in width, this snow sculpture serves as a new attraction in China's "Snow City." The original "Truant Penguins" also went to meet their larger counterpart, showing support for its arrival.
