At least 12 people died after a bus bound for Nepal's capital Kathmandu from Nepalgunj fell into the Rapti river at Bhaluwang in Dang, local media reported on Saturday.
The accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday and the bus driver has been detained by the police.
