China and the Maldives elevated their bilateral relationship to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership during President Mohamed Muizzu's state visit to China. In an exclusive interview with CGTN Radio, Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives Wang Lixin suggested that the visit would help carry forward the traditional friendship between the two sides and expand practical cooperation in various fields.
