Hundreds of Iranian people gathered outside the British Embassy in Tehran, expressing their strong condemnation of the military action launched by the United States and Britain in Yemen on January 12. The protest was staged after the U.S. and Britain launched several air strikes on Houthi military sites around the Yemeni capital Sanaa on January 12. The allied air strikes came hours after the Houthi fighters launched a ballistic missile at a cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden, according to a post by the U.S. Central Command on X. The Houthis said they only attack Israel-affiliated or Israel-bound ships to compel Israel to stop its war on Gaza.
