International concern grows as Gaza conflict hits 100 days

00:45

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue the military campaign in Gaza until what he calls "total victory" is achieved. But the White House says it's the "right time" for Israel to scale back its military operations in Gaza. Sunday marked the 100th day of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Gaza's health ministry reports nearly 24,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 60,000 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7.

On Sunday, Hamas aired a video showing three Israeli hostages in Gaza, who are urging the Israeli government to stop the military offensive. Hamas also said it has lost contact with some hostages under the Israeli shelling, noting that they might have been killed in the process.
