Some "ice butterflies" have formed amid recent low temperatures in the suburbs of Houma City in northern China's Shanxi Province. These crystal "butterflies" have various shapes and are found hanging on branches and grass. Experts say they are ice chips crystallized under appropriate conditions of low temperatures, humidity and wind force.
