The third discharge of nuclear-contaminated water into the sea from the tsunami-damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant ended on November 20, with over 23,000 tonnes of nuclear-contaminated water being released in total.
CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Christchurch, New Zealand, to ask locals what they thought of the Japanese government's release of nuclear-contaminated water into the sea. Many people said that the Japanese government's move is very risky, and they do not buy the government's claim that it is safe to discharge nuclear-contaminated water.
