Lionel Messi of Argentina retained the Best FIFA Men's Player award on Monday, while Spain's Aitana Bonmati secured the Women's Best Player award. Both players had previously received their Ballon d'Or awards two months ago.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola received the trophy for the Men's Best Coach, guiding his team to a historic Treble finish last season, which included the Premier League title, the FA Cup, and their first Champions League victory. Meanwhile, City's Ederson was awarded the Men's Goalkeeper prize, and six of his Brazilian teammates were named in the Men's Team of the Year.
England manager Sarina Wiegman was honored as the Women's Best Coach. Marta received the FIFA Special Award for her outstanding career achievements. The 37-year-old Brazilian scored 17 goals in 23 matches across six World Cup tournaments and has been recognized as the world's best female player six times.
