Passenger planes collide at north Japan airport, no injuries reported

Two passenger planes collided at the New Chitose Airport in the northernmost Japanese prefecture of Hokkaido, Japanese media outlets reported on Tuesday.

The fire department said a Cathay Pacific aircraft, which was parked on the tarmac, was hit by a moving Korean Air Lines plane at around 5:30 p.m.

There were no injuries reported from this collision.
