Approximately 3,000 world leaders, including 60 heads of state, are gathered in Davos to discuss critical issues such as climate change, security and geopolitical tensions at the ongoing 2024 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, themed "Rebuilding Trust."
Mirek Dusek, a managing director at WEF, told CGTN's Guan Xin that this year's forum functions as a dialogue platform to discuss subjects such as what can be done to rebuild trusts, the role of the WEF in fostering these solutions and the critical role of artificial intelligence.
Dusek also stressed that China has made major contribution to global economic growth and recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, and deliberations and speeches from the Chinese delegation are highly anticipated at Davos 2024.
