Giant ice sculptures of the Asian Winter Games mascots Binbin and Nini are attracting the attention of visitors to the Laodaowai baroque scenic spot in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. The four sculptures, depicting Binbin holding a teapot and steamed buns and Nini with tanghulu (sugar-coated haw sticks) and a jar of liquor, respectively, reflect the folk characteristics of Harbin and the hospitality of the local people. The 9th Asian Winter Games will be held in Harbin in early 2025.
