This is a beach walk with a difference: ice trekking along China's northernmost coastline in Panjin City, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Under the theme of "Passionate Ice and Snow," Panjin has taken the lead in driving its ice and snow economy through various winter activities. The ice trekking competition this year is divided into two parts: a 22km route for professionals and a 2km route for tourists.
