In 2023, the Palace of Versailles celebrated its 400th anniversary. Throughout this remarkable year, visitors had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in an engaging program of events that allowed them to revisit four centuries of history.
As a highlight of the fourth centenary celebrations, visitors were invited to explore the completely revamped design and layout of the Gallery of the History of the Palace which offered a fresh perspective on the rich historical journey encapsulated within the walls of Versailles.
