In a partnership renewal ceremony held in China's southern city of Guangzhou on Thursday, world basketball governing body FIBA renewed its global partnership with Chinese brand TCL for four more years.
The new partnership features over 2,000 events, including the 2024 FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup in Germany and the 2027 FIBA World Cup in Qatar.
TCL has been collaborating with FIBA for six years since signing the contract in 2018, supporting FIBA in over 20 global events, including Olympic men's and women's basketball qualification tournaments, FIBA Continental Cups for men and women, FIBA Youth World Cups and FIBA Basketball World Cups.
Frank Leenders, the director general of FIBA's Media and Marketing Services, said FIBA is delighted to continue collaborating with TCL and will jointly conduct a series of activities in the next four years, providing fans with more innovative basketball experiences.
