Live updates: Biden says Netanyahu not opposed to all two-state solutions

- U.S. President Joe Biden said on Friday it was still possible Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could agree to some form of Palestinian state, despite the latter publicly reiterating his opposition to a Palestinian state on Thursday.

- Almost 25,000 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in Gaza since October 7 last year, the majority women and children, Ajith Sunghay, an official with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, said on Friday.

- The U.S. conducted fresh attacks on Houthi anti-ship missiles on Friday as the group pledged to continue preventing the passage of lsraeli and American ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports despite a joint U.S.-UK attack on January 12. 

- A Houthi military spokesman responded on Friday that the group's attacks "will continue until a ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave of Gaza Strip is imposed, and the siege is lifted."
