Wild animals raising their babies in Qinling Mountains

01:15

The rare scene of a wild giant panda with her cub was captured on camera in Zhouzhi National Nature Reserve, located in the Qinling Mountains in China's NW Shaanxi Province. The mother panda held and dragged along her cub in her mouth. Her neighbors, such as takins and Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkeys, are much gentler with their babies. Experts say the way wild animals raise their babies is the result of long-term natural selection based on their bodily functions.
