On January 21, 2024, the Yuyuan Lantern Festival officially lit up, marking the beginning of a 40-day celebration. The sky above Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai is illuminated by a myriad of colorful fish lanterns. Some other lanterns take the shape of a Chinese dragon to celebrate the arrival of 2024 and the Year of the Dragon. The spectacle has drawn massive crowds in Shanghai.
