Residing predominantly in the southern island province of Hainan, the Li ethnic group celebrates Spring Festival with a vibrant array of folk activities, with their renowned Bamboo Dance at the forefront. This lively and rhythmic dance places emphasis on precision, agility, and teamwork. Clad in the group's colorful folk attire, the bamboo carriers move poles or sticks in perfect synchronicity with the music, allowing the jumpers to exhibit their skills by gracefully hopping in and out of the spaces between the poles, while enhancing the performance with joyful dance movements.
