The real intention of the United States to suppress China's development has been further exposed, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Monday at a pressing briefing in Beijing.

Wang made the remark in response to a question about the relations between the Swiss tech giant ABB and a Chinese firm.

"For those U.S. politicians, anything advanced from China can be a 'threat' and must be stopped by all means," said Wang.
