The Honghe Hani Rice Terraces in southwest China's Yunnan Province stretch along the slopes of the Ailao Mountains to the banks of the Honghe River. Over the past 1,300 years, the people of the local Hani ethnic group have developed a system of channels to bring water from the mountaintops to the terraces and developed an integrated environmentally friendly farming system to support rice cultivation.

The magnificent views of the terraces have attracted countless professional and amateur photographers over the years. In 2013, 16,603 hectares of the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Burgundy is one of France's main wine-producing areas. The region is known for both its red and white wines, with the most famous wines produced here commonly referred to as "Burgundies."

"The climats, terroirs of Burgundy," a cultural landscape and a series of sites that exemplify the viticulture practices of the Burgundy wine region, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015. The region features the climats – small, precisely delimited land parcels that differ from each other in microclimate, geography, soil and grape type. The Burgundy climats are the birthplace of the terroir system of French wine, where each geographical region has its own unique wine.
