Thailand's Constitutional Court on Wednesday ruled former prime ministerial candidate Pita Limjaroenrat was not guilty of violating election law and will retain his parliamentary seat.

Pita, a senior figure with the progressive opposition, Move Forward, had been accused of breaking election law by owning shares in a media company while a candidate. Move Forward won last year's election but failed to form a government.
