The U.S. military said it destroyed two anti-ship missiles early on Wednesday, according to its statement.
The U.S. Central Command said its forces "conducted strikes against two Houthi anti-ship missiles that were aimed into the Southern Red Sea and were prepared to launch," the statement said, adding "U.S. forces subsequently struck and destroyed the missiles in self-defense."
