Zhang Jun, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, on Tuesday reiterated the necessity for the Security Council to reaffirm the urgency of the two-state solution to resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict in the Gaza Strip. He made the remarks at a high-level meeting of the Security Council on the Middle East.
