In rocky mountains with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters in Chongsar Town, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, there lives the Tibetan rhesus macaque, a second-class protected animal in China. It is one of the Chinese subspecies, mainly living in Yunnan Province and southeastern Xizang. Gregarious animals, they help others groom and scratch, share food and shelter, and fight against enemies together.
