Look again. These "branches and stems" are ice formations on the tidal flats of the Qiantang River near the town of Huangwan in Jiaxing, east China's Zhejiang Province. After a recent cold snap in the area, these tidal trees appeared on the frozen river. Aerial photographs showcase the winter beauty of this natural phenomenon.
