The Pacific island nation of Tuvalu is going to elect its 16-seat parliament on Friday as polls reportedly kicked off in the morning.
Voters will select two lawmakers in each of the atoll nation's eight constituencies. All candidates run as independents as Tuvalu has no political parties.
The vote is expected to end at around 4:00 p.m. local time (0400 GMT).
