China's Kuaizhou rocket, developed by China Space Sanjiang Group, successfully completed a vertical liftoff and landing test on Friday.

The test was conducted by a reusable test rocket in a 22-second flight at 3 p.m. Beijing Time. Powered by a liquid oxygen-methane engine, the rocket hovered in the air for nine seconds and landed stably in an accurate position.

The rocket was in a good condition, and the test was declared a complete success.
