The UN's top court on Friday said Israel must prevent genocidal acts in its conflict with Hamas and allow aid into Gaza, but stopped short of calling for an end to the fighting. James M. Dorsey, a senior fellow at the National University of Singapore's Middle East Institute, says the International Court of Justice's ruling is a blow to Israel's "already tarnished" moral standing.
