The German Ice Hockey Professional League held an event to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival during the game between Dusseldorf Club and Straubing Tigers at PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany, on Thursday.

The local Chinese community was joined by Germans in a singing and dancing performance on ice during the event. Du Chunguo, consul general of China in Dusseldorf, said in his speech that culture unites two peoples and so do sports.
